The Peay Vineyards Savoy Vineyard Pinot Noir is a marvelous effort. Wines from this site always dance and drift between being savory forward and fruit forward. This vintage displays brilliant purity of fruit, always a bit more black and blue than Peay's estate wines. It is balanced by a haunting hint of earth on the finish and is laced with fragrant lavender and Szechuan spice.
