Duckhorn's Goldeneye is a beautiful Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley that should be on the short list for any Pinot lover. Get the new vintage before the ratings come out!
94 Points Brix26: "Always one of our favorite Pinots, the Goldeneye 2023 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir knocks it out of the park. From a stellar vintage, its rich and distinctive, with complex, concentrated black cherry, wild berry, savory spice and fresh earth scents. The tannins are rich and mouthcoating, yet the fruit pours through. Drink now through 2025."
Winemaker Notes: "Combining the lush fruit of our warmer Anderson Valley estate vineyards with the rustic elegance of grapes from the cooler “deep end” of the valley, the 2023 Goldeneye is a rich and beautifully textured Pinot Noir with velvety tannins and bright acidity. On the palate, flavors of candied cherry and dark plum are underscored by deeper notes of forest floor. The finish is long and supple, with lively fruit and just a touch of French oak."
