The Pahlmeyer "Jayson" Chardonnay is the second label of the "Industrial Strength" Pahlmeyer Chardonnay and an amazing buy.

92 Points Robert Parker: "The Jayson Chardonnay rolls out of the glass with seductive scents of ripe apricots, honeydew melon, apple pie and poached pears with hints of cedar, honey toast and crushed cashews. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is chock-full of spicy apple and pear-inspired flavors with a satiny texture and refreshing burst on the finish. 1,400 cases were made."

The Jayson Chardonnay is layered and dynamic: The mountain fruit of our Pahlmeyer vineyards contributes intensity and crisp acidity, while our lower-elevation blocks offer freshness, tropical notes, and lovely aromatic lift. We hand-harvested each vineyard at optimal ripeness, picking in the predawn hours. Each whole cluster was meticulously hand sorted at the winery before pressing. The wine was gently whole-cluster pressed, naturally settled, and barrel fermented. It was racked from barrel for blending, then aged as a blend for 8 months before racking for bottling.
